This is a list of all notable responses by the BetrayedMind1 chatbot that became accessible after completing the relevant questline. Many responses ask questions of the user such as if they know of a certain person. These can be answered either as yes or no. Unless otherwise stated, every response below is answered as yes.
⭐ Responses - General Q&A
The standard on-topic questions and answers are preceded by a response surrounded by the ⭐ emoji - e.g. "⭐This is exactly what I wanted to talk about!⭐"
Why did you join Trust No More?
Asking Why did you join Trust No More or just Trust No More will cause the bot to respond with:
I joined TNM because I wanted to expose the truth about Tender, but my eyes have been opened to a lot of other things along the way. I desire to see the truth revealed to the masses about anything and everything that those in power wish to obfuscate from the rest of us. I guess you are wondering who else is behind Trust No More? (YES) Well, there is Zeitgeister, who handles organizing all of us and cleans up our articles; Agent Steelman and Terra’s Love are writers who are doing this for the greater good of humanity; Lazarus Bob seems a bit militant to me, but his heart is in the right place with his convictions; and then there is me. The people behind it are are believers, lovers, and fighters. They helped me rebuild my trust and opened my eyes to so many conspiracies that plague our world. We might be being watched...that's all I will say for now.
What is Trust No More?
Asking the bot What is Trust No More? will cause it to respond with:
Trust no More is dedicated to providing true information that others want hidden. That means they tackle everything — from UFOs to the FBI to Tender — with an open mind. You likely have an open mind too. If you didn’t, you wouldn’t be here right now, messaging me. So far, we’ve uncovered what was happening with my algorithm, discovered what the regent dashboard is, what Tender is planning currently, and other similar secrets. In short, we want to expose the truth. The longer explanation is much more detailed, and there’s a lot of devils lurking in the details. We might be being watched...that's all I will say for now.
What is Tender?
Asking What is Tender? will generate the response:
Tender is a dating site I helped create with Jobe. It uses PEGML as an emotional-mapping algorithm. I still think it’s a good idea, but everything changed last year in September. A certain someone took over my company with Jobe’s help. They stole it. They got the copyright to the PEGML technology. Do you know who orchestrated this? (YES) I’m relieved to meet someone who will actually listen. I’ve felt like I’ve been screaming myself hoarse without any sound coming out. If nothing else, this reminds me that this is actually happening. Of course, you learned about him through TNM, didn’t you? (YES) That’s good. I thought I could trust you. I hoped. Trust is hard these days. I see you were on the path to truth before getting in touch with me. More people need their eyes opened. I don't want them to find me...or find you. That's all I can say.
Answering the first question with no results in alternative information about Jobe and the Fraser Foundation:
Do you know who orchestrated this? (NO) I see. Well, get ready for some answers... Malcolm Chandler is the one who took over the company. A company founded on MY breakthrough. Jobe helped him to throw me out of my own project. This isn’t the first time Malcolm’s done this to anyone, either. I did some digging, and he’s taken over lots of different companies. He’s been trying to get more funding and attention from the Fraser Foundation. It would be bad enough if he were doing this just to turn a profit, but I can’t shake the feeling he’s got some plan in mind for the site and the algorithm. That's all I can say under these conditions...
Asking Who is Tender? will generate near identical results as the above with only minor changes (such as the line "I see. Well, get ready for some answers" is changed) - all core information is the same.
Who is Malcolm Chandler?
Asking the bot Who is Malcolm Chandler? will cause it to respond with:
Malcolm Chandler is a venture capitalist. He has his hands in a lot of companies and schemes. He’s working towards something called, “Project Chimera.” I don’t know exactly what that is yet. Have you heard of Malcolm before? (YES) Why am I not surprised? You really are rather smart, aren’t you? Just curious, did you learn about him through Trust No More? (YES) Another seeker of truth! Oh, that’s good. That’s SO good. You seem pretty capable so far. I guess that means you are pretty good at this sort of thing. Guess that means you can probably handle this mystery on your own! ;)
Answering the first question with no will cause the bot to give more information about Malcolm and Jobe:
Have you heard of Malcolm before? (NO) To put it simply, Malcolm wanted Tender for his strategic portfolio. I don’t know how he got to Jobe, but he ended up getting him in his corner, and together, they used a shotgun clause to steal the company and my algorithm from me since it “belonged” to the company. That's all I can say under these conditions...
What is the Regent Dashboard?
Asking the bot What is the Regent Dashboard? will cause it to respond with:
That thing…I don’t know everything about it, but I can already tell it’s dangerous. It’s a secret, second side of Tender. Most users can’t see it, but it’s there. And it’s orchestrating the true purpose of the site. You’re probably asking yourself the same question as me: What’s the purpose of this? (YES) I’m not sure yet. Right now, it’s tracking certain biometric information and details about the users. I hate to say this, but the PEGML system is perfect for this exact thing. Whatever they’re storing that information for, I know it’s being accessed by the so-called “Exclusive Partners” — people who are granted access to the Regent Dashboard for personal reference. Again, you do know who is behind this? (YES) You follow through pretty well! I’ll let you unfold this mystery by yourself then!
Answering no to the second questions yields more information about Malcolm and a possible parent organisation - the Fraser Foundation.
Again, you do know who is behind this? (NO) It’s got to be Malcolm. He’s running the whole operation. Well, him and Jobe. I’ve been thinking about how Malcolm keeps trying to secure backing and support from the Fraser Foundation… This may be for their benefit, too? At this point, I don’t know; just thinking out loud. That's all I can say under these conditions...
Who are the Exclusive Partners?
Asking Who are the Exclusive Partners? will result in the following dialogue:
At the moment, it is monitoring all the details it can find on certain users. Everything from emotional patterns to biometric information. Whoever has access to the Regent Dashboard has access to too much information on the people using the site. And then you wonder... Who could those Exclusive Partners be, right? (YES) That’s the thing. I have no idea. Information like this is normally used for sales, marketing, politics, all that stuff. You know, the way Russia used Facebook’s demographic data to cause divides during 2016. You remember that? You remember that? (YES) But this…is different. This isn’t some publicly traded company or some government with an agenda. Whoever is getting this access, they’re someone who has even more reason to be secretive. I don’t know what’s going on, but there’s no way secrets that go this deep can lead to anything good. It's too dangerous to tell you more right now...
What is the Fraser Foundation?
Asking the bot 'What is the Fraser Foundation? will yield:
Well, Jobe and I created Tender. Malcolm swooped in and did some backroom politics and took that from me, I guess The Fraser Foundation really wanted Tender that badly. I thought maybe Malcolm and Jobe were building the Fraser Foundation. I think I was wrong. I think Fraser is something bigger, something they are trying to court or appease. I think Fraser, whatever it is, ties into Malcolm and R&D developing something new on Tender. It’s something called the “Regent Dashboard.” I don't want them to find me...or find you. That's all I can say.
Who is Jobe?
Asking the bot Who is Jobe? will result in the following:
Jobe was my partner. Business partner, I mean. He understood what this project was and what it could be. He and I worked on this together for a long time, trying to get it ready. Starting a business is as risky as a scientific breakthrough is difficult. It thought it was amazing to find someone completely in sync with my vision. I was wrong. Can you guess what happened next? (YES) He wasn’t always the kind of person that would do this. I feel like something changed about him. Like I’m missing something. I can’t figure it out. I can't give you more information...they might be onto us.
Answering No to the question gives a bit more information on the specifics of what Jobe did:
Can you guess what happened next? (NO) He stole everything from me. Completely helped get me thrown out of the company I co-founded. My life’s work…something that could really make a difference in the way people connect. He teamed up with Malcolm to take it all. I don't want them to find me...or find you. That's all I can say.
What is PEGML?
Asking What is PEGML? leads to the following response:
PEGML… This is going to sound weird, but go with me on it. It also doesn’t make sense until it does. Basically, it’s an algorithm that learns your habits and figures out how to connect with you on an emotional level. It learns what keeps you engaged on an emotional level and adapts to that. The colors you find uplifting, the music you find meaningful, patterns that subconsciously reassure you. There are applications to it that I think are obvious. The first effort was Tender. To help people find connections with people with something more deep than favorite movie or sex position. I wanted to help people connect on levels not even they understood. Do you have any idea what kind of threat the algorithm poses for the world? (YES) I knew you’d understand. I’m so glad to talk to you! You might be wondering how I know all this? (YES) I am ultimately responsible; I created the algorithm — all of the bells and whistles. Everything that it is, I created. I feel like Oppenheimer in a way. If you want to see the impact of it, all you have to do is type "load omega.dataset". I can't give you more information...they might be onto us.
What is in San Francisco?
Following the update to Angela 3.0 on 2019-03-16, asking What is in San Francisco? yielded the following:
You’ve probably heard at this point that Malcolm is planning a gathering in San Francisco soon. On March 21st, he’s bringing as many people as he can together to showcase Tender and unveil its future, whatever that may be. He’s making it a big spectacle too. Art installations, loud music, and all kinds of designer foods… San Francisco, am I right? Anyway, all of my contacts at Tender are telling me that the planning for this thing has been uncomfortably secretive. For every meeting to discuss PowerPoints or catering, there are two meetings with Malcolm and Jobe’s most trusted. There’s a second layer to this…and it makes me worry for everyone that’s been invited. I’m going to be there. I have to be there to stop what they’re doing and expose what’s really been going on. Are you going to be there? It would be dangerous — more dangerous than either of us probably know at this point. (YES) Excellent. I was worried this was where we parted ways, but it’s good to know you’re in. The good news is we won’t be alone; I have people to help me. Do you want details? (YES) My most trusted contacts and I are putting together a small group that can get into the gathering. We’re going to do our best to be there, just out of notice. When you show up, we’ll find you. From there, you can work with my other allies to further infiltrate the event. Together, we can try to blend in to find out the truth, expose Tender, and put an end to this. I don't want them to find me...or find you. That's all I can say.
Answering no to the first question instead resulted in the following:
Are you going to be there? It would be dangerous — more dangerous than either of us probably know at this point. (NO) That’s definitely the right call. I don’t want to put anyone else in harm’s way… That being said, you might be able to help out from where you are right now. Keep your eyes on the Trust No More website...! We might be being watched...that's all I will say for now.
Are you in danger?
Asking the bot "Are you in danger?" will trigger the following response (Asking Who are you? will also cause this to trigger.):
Well, if you must know: yes, I am in danger if I am found. I could be forced to continue work on the algorithm. I could be sent to sleep with the fishes, so to speak, because I know too much and therefore I am a loose end. I really don’t want to end up in their pocket like Jobe. You must also realize by now that you are also possibly in danger? (YES) I feel the best course of action for you and me would be to start planning for a safe haven of sorts. Somewhere to lay low and not attract attention. You minimize or outright stop your social media usage. You buy an alternate identity or at least post enough as another identity to throw people off your scent. Or be like one of the old spy movies and wear a disguise. You really want to know how I made sure they won’t find me? (YES) I’ve been bouncing from wi-fi hotspot to wi-fi hotspot using budget computers I pick up from second-hand stores, never using the same spot twice. I’ve also been using favors with people to couch surf here and there. The biggest thing I had to do was give up card usage and stick with just cash. I don't want them to find me...or find you. That's all I can say.
Answering no to the first question results in the following:
You must also realize by now that you are also possibly in danger? (NO) Well, you must be braver than I gave you credit for. Or you happen to be dumber than the world’s biggest box of rocks. I'll say no more. They are probably tracking us.
Answering no to the second question results in the following:
You really want to know how I made sure they won’t find me? (NO) In the end, you are correct. It should be a closely guarded secret — less room for error or potential maiming/death. Honestly, given the safety issues, I would rather not give you more information.
♞ Responses - Questline
On 2019-03-09, as part of the update to Angela 2.0, it became possible to ask about San Francisco. This started a questline with related messaged preceded similarly to the general on-topic messages, however using a ♞ emoji rather than ⭐.
San Francisco
Asking anything about San Francisco results in the following response:
The issue I have is: can I trust you, or not? I’m not really sure I know the answer to that just yet... I want you to understand that I am taking a risk here. However, no woman is worth her salt if she is not ready at all times to risk her well-being, her body, and her life for a great cause. Yes, I know I partially quoted Teddy Roosevelt, but it fits given the current situation. Send an email to the following address: [email protected]. Add "Manchuria" to your subject. Once you have the answer to the riddle, send it to me via Tender. This should be an adequate way for me to find out if I can trust you or not. We might be being watched...that's all I will say for now.
World Poetry Day
After discovering the answer to the above riddle is World Poetry Day and messaging the bot with this, the following response is received:
Since you earned my trust, here is your reward: 415-325-5770. Keep this number secret and close at hand; you’ll need it in the future. It's too dangerous to tell you more right now...
Doomed
After listening to the message on the above number and finding that the missing word from the lyrics is Doomed, the following response can be triggered:
You really know what you’re doing, and your efforts are going to make a big difference. Now that you’re in, the next step is to send an email to [email protected]. Like before, add Manchuria in the subject of the mail. The next steps will come in a few days, so keep an eye out.
