The CP2077 Phantom Liberty Anniversary ARG was a mini-ARG created by CDPR to commemorate the 2 year anniversary of the Phantom Liberty DLC for Cyberpunk 2077.

Message from Rosalind Myers

On the 1st of September, 2025, Lilayah posted an image on the CDPR Forum titled: Important message for N.U.S.A. Citizens from President Rosalind Myers.

Hidden in the bottom-right corner of the image were the 4 characters:

Also hidden as a comment within the image was:

https://cp2077.ly/wigvixQWK linked to a character image of Julius Caesar.

and it was discovered that wigvixQWK is ROT4 for secretMSG

Secret Message

On the 4th of September, cp2077.ly/secretMSG redirected to a youtube video which was predominantly static, although small breaks in the static occurred during the first 9 minutes.

Assembling the breaks revealed the 3 words: CLASSIFIED FILES DETECTED

On the 9th of September, a user by the name of NUSA_netrunner posted a comment on the CDPR forum post.

Good evening, netrunners.

One of you will receive a package from my trustworthy RED, so they cannot trace it to me.

Look for another files.

After which, NUSA_netrunner sent 4 or 5 pages of a redacted document to 5 users on discord, for a total of 24 pages.

Which decoded into THE N.U.S.A. IS UNDER THREAT. DOGTOWN IS GROWING. KH IS ALL POWERFUL. HE WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY.

Also written throughout the document, is a series of decimal codes, prefixed with 0x:

which decoded into look for an address in addresses.

Under the redacted sections of the files, there were 4 physical address locations mentioned and /classified

Combining the numbers in the addresses into an IP address resulted in 34.111.72.177.

NightCity.love

Going to 34.111.72.177 results in a 404 page, though after going through the page certification warnings, it was discovered that the certificate itself was actually supposed to be used for https://nightcity.love

adding the /classified to the to the site lead to https://nightcity.love/classified .

Hidden at the top-right corner of the page, were the 4 characters

with the background being a grid of 50 41 53 53 57 4F 52 44.

Some of the strings in the background had a glitch effect applied to it, which when clicked on, lead to the same 404 page as the classified button in the centre of the page, however it was discovered that one of them was actually a download link for youwannaseethis.zip

The zip file was password protected, with the password being 50415353574F5244 (The same as the background, but without the spaces) the only file inside the zip was youwannaseethis.png.

Hansen Email

On the 16th of September, users who sent code attempts to Hansen's email account received an automated email back.

Message got flatlined. System's on lockdown.

Reconnect after 09/17/2025, 6AM PDT / 9AM EDT / 3PM CEST

After the emails were sent out, NUSA_netrunner posted a message on discord, along with an image:

Runners!

You managed to trigger Kurt's security systems and his mailbox is on lockdown. We aim to breach it and gain the access tomorrow. ETA: 16h.

We also retrieved this pic. Maybe you will make sense of this., because we for sure can't.

Scan the intel we’ve gathered and find the code to the safe in Dogtown. BE CAREFUL! We only have 5 attempts to break the code. If we fail, well... Kurt will hear about our little operation we run here.

Our agent spotted something valuable inside. We need to retrieve it. Help us with the code and first runners who will do it, will be rewarded.
