The Chrono.gg ARG was an ARG that took place on popular game deal site Chrono.gg.

On March 5, the front page of Chrono.gg was updated with a message hidden inside the promo art for Omnibus: thisisnotaclue.com. Visiting that site shows...

Progress so far: First clue. From email sent out to newsletter subscribers: unknown.png

Hidden URL on Omnibus at http://www.chrono.gg unknown.png

Leads to http://www.thisisnotaclue.com/ (( WARNING: This site displays your IP. Do NOT post a full picture! ))

We compiled all the sequences at https://1drv.ms/x/s!An0WCjkAtK3KgYkRZsDl2nyHUBNKdQ

Then we converted the hex values of all the assembled color swathes and obtained the cryptic message " CRITICAL WARNING: COINS ARE UNEXPECTEDLY MISSING. SUSPECT IDENTIFIED. SUSPECT ID: GRENDEL23. REQUESTING INVESTIGATIVE ASSISTANCE. END TRANSMISSION. "

This leads us to this chrono.gg forum user ( https://community.chrono.gg/users/Grendel23/activity ) We are currently looking at Grendel23's only post for clues, as well as analyzing the avatar image ( source image:

As far as the avatar being a tangram, @ManicVolcanic#7413 solved it. Here is the solution: unknown.png

@ManicVolcanic#7413 noticed that the first letters of all the sentences spelled out an imgur link ( LgmNn9E.jpg ) so now we are given the next clue!

By putting the previously solved tangram in line with the letter grid, we are given unknown.png

This leads us to http://www.thisisnotaclue.com/conspiracy (GO TO / CONSPIRACY from the tangram lines) which redirects to http://thecoinconspiracy.com/

The riddle is a Tower of Hanoi type puzzle, and it asks us to input a minimum number of moves. @Randomiser#0769 did 2^14 to get the answer: 16384

The site then gives us this image 0688a1c2699ab939ef26ad2355176e64.png

How to help: Figure out what to do with the image!
