W/ARE is a company based in China, which specializes in creating post-VR headsets that allow you to enter virtual worlds within your dreams. They are also one of Myriad's clients.

The Team

Xiāo Cheung - The creator, and Founder of W/ARE technology. He claims to have created the device with his own childhood dream in mind; of being able to live in a virtual world.

Huáng Zhìmíng - The CEO of W/ARE. Graduated alongside Xiāo at the University of Electronic Science, and Technology of China with a Masters in Business.

Arnaud Lacours - The man behind Philo Jeux, a French indie games studio that was developing a game called "The Tablets of Mnemosyne" for the W/ARE platform, until he went into a coma after his headset malfunctioned.

Dr. Geraldine Nadeau - Researching lucid dreaming methods, Geraldine took interest in Arnaud's unusual brain activity during his coma, and took him into her care.

Mr. Zheng - A W/ARE employee who went into hiding after learning about W/ARE's inhumane experiments in their testing labs. After evading their detection, he blew the whistle on them to recipients of the W/ARE developer kits by intercepting their packages. It is also apparent that he has been in contact with Dr. Nadeau.
