Headphones and Morse
Several pairs of headphones were discovered hidden on some maps. The headphones are indestructible, and appear on every server. It appears that there are 5 sets of headphones per map, although not all headphone spawns have been found on all maps. In addition, not all headphones will spawn on a map at once, so discovering their location is quite difficult. The headphones can be picked up and worn by the player. Upon interacting with an MCOM station (1 MCOM per map) while wearing the headphones, the player will hear some Morse code being tapped out. A player can wear only one pair of headphones at a time, and only the player wearing the headphones will be able to hear the Morse code. If a player wearing headphones is killed, the headphones are dropped.

November 15, 2016
On November 15, Battlefield 1 was updated, changing the Morse code on all maps to the following:
.--. .-. . ...- .. --- ..- ... | -- . ... ... .- --. . | -.-. --- .-. .-. ..- .--. - . -.. .- .-- .- .. - | ..-. ..- .-. - .... . .-. | .. -. ... - .-. ..- -.-. - .. --- -. ... PREVIOUS MESSAGE CORRUPTED AWAIT FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS
In addition, the update added an MCOM station and headphones to Ballroom Blitz, which was the only map that lacked headphones and an MCOM station:
