CEO of the [[Waking Titan/Companies#The Atlas Foundation|Atlas Foundation]], Elizabeth Leighton had been attempting to make contact via video messages which were password secured at [http://www.wakingtitan.com/ Waking Titan].  There was a great deal of interference in these messages, and at times there appeared to be multiple discrete video streams competing with one another.  In some streams Ms. Leighton was calm and congratulatory, while in others she appeared to be distressed and frustrated.  Some statements in the videos had lead to the notion that what appeared to be sequential videos may have been the same video recorded in different iterations of some sort of "time loop."
